When you connect with an application or website it will have access to main Information about you. The Main Information includes your and your friends names, profile pictures, gender, user IDs, connections, and any content shared using the Everyone privacy setting. ... The default privacy setting for certain types of information you post on Facebook is set to anyone.... Because it takes two to connect, your privacy settings only control who can see the connection on your profile page. If you are uncomfortable with the connection being publicly available, you should consider removing or just not making a website.

Will Richardson on Education Video!!

I think it's pretty awesome that Will Richardson's daughter learned how to play don't stop believing by Journey. Journey is like the best band ever. His music is amazing and very soul taking. I love it. I think the internet is the best technology that this world has came up with because it helps us a lot with our education. Math, Science, English, and Music. Just about anything you can think of. People can get far in life by using different websites on the internet. For example if you like to sing and put videos of yourself on youtube singing than everyone in this world can see it so who knows who will watch it.

Science Kids!

Today we were suppose to find a website that will help us with School better. I chose a website called Science kids, it has a lot of different games and one is how plants grow by experimenting with different conditions. Using heat & water, we have to see if we can make the plants grow to a healthy size. It's cool so whenever you guys have the chance to do that go ahead and do it, it's interesting!!! :) The website is on www.sciencekids.com.

Thursday!!

Well today we had a free day!! Which was fun because I got to check out some cool tatoo's to get some idea's. I'm pretty sure I found the one I want. Its pretty awesome!! lol =) Anyhow I also listened to music, which is usual haha!

Digital Footprints!

Alright so this is about trails that people leave behind when they live online, internet predators use these trails to track down careless tweens or teens. This means predators will track you down and things could happen to you that you for sure won't know about, they could be tracking you down and following you everywhere you go. So it's important for all of us teens to be careful on the internet like be careful on the things you write down about yourself. If your talking about where your at and what your doing or where you live, don't be specific about it.. Be completely short, Don't write absolutely everything about yourself on websites that say About me. If you do than don't be truthful about everything you write down.

Google Reader!

It allows you to view blogs on your page. It will tell us when our sites are updated and they are mostly likely all on the same page so all you will need to do is bring your mouse down to go through them all. It also shows you if you have unread or read items to the side and you will need to sign up with google, if you don't have a google account than make one. Or you can use a yahoo email. It's all up to you :)

Today we finished our imovie well at least to our standards anyhow, I hope it's good enough. Our imovie is 2 minutes and 39 seconds long so it hit the time requirements. I had fun working with Nickole! :) Thanks to my dad for letting me record him! It was fun to do that but also funny when I was makin fun of him haha.. lol

Monday

When I was home for the weekend I had dad talk about my car while I video taped him. Today I Learned how to use imovie and it was confusing but we got the hang of it. :) We were laughing because my dad was acting like a girl kind of by making the sounds he was making while he was talking but it was still good haha

Thursday!

Today I learned about imovie which is a thing you can make video's with. I'm gonna go home and video tape my dad answering questions I ask him about my car.. My car is pretty old but it's my first car sp its not supposed t be pretty I guess haha but hey thats pretty much what happen today, hope you guys enjoy it!!

Tuesday!!

Today I'm gonna blog about a video I watched. It's called What are your thoughts on this video? It's about bulling in middle schools. Students are beating on each other and making status's on facebook about the situation so everyone can get involved and tell their opinion so the problem spreads and the drama gets worse. This was a good video but i don't think sending emails or notes to parents are gonna change it. The students have to make the choice to change it.

Thursday!!

Well today we were supposed to do something with masher or glogster or something i don't know. I was a bit confused so I just messed around with masher and made random videos and listened to music on youtube. Today has been a pretty relaxing day.. I wish I knew what was going on though!

Tuesday..

Today WE LEARNED HOW TO MAKE A MASHER, WHICH IS A WEBSITE FOR YOU TO MAKE VIDEOS..I MADE ONE ON NATURE. I CAN'T PUT IT UP ON MY BLOGGER BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG, BUT HOPEFULLY IT GETS FIXED TO WERE I CAN.

Twitter!!!!!

Today we had Hailey come in to talk to us about twitter.. She showed us how to make a twitter, how to upload pics on twitter for our profile pic, how to follow our classmates and what to do when they follow us and how to accept our followers. It was a bit confusing at first but I kinda got it now. lol I guess... but its pretty cool!

What kind of technology can I not live without?

My Cell phone, because It's my only way to contact people sense I live out In Greeley. I can get a hold of my friends and make plans. I can call my parents and let them no whats going on and what I'm doing or where I'm at. When there is an emergency I can use my cell phone to call the police to come help or something like that. It's a pretty dandy thing to keep a hold of. We always need it for plenty of reasons. I know one thing and that is I can not live with out my Cell Phone!!!

Today i told about my Screen cast with my topic of filtermusic, It was making me a little irritated cause I couldn't get logged on, but I finally did and got to tell about, everyone seemed confused so I answered there questions to the best I could..

Monday..

Today I'm gonna try to figure out more things to do on filter music. Than I will be recording myself telling everyone how it works. I'm gonna record at home though. I hope it turns out well.. I hope for everyone else too :)

Today..

Today i learned how to change the radio stations to my favorite kinda music...So now i don't have to listen to the awkward music on here lol I had no idea what kind of music it was. I like this website so far even though there isn't much to learn or much to do. Music is my life though so it's all good!! :)

Flitermusic!!

Today I have chosen flitermusic! Now I just need to mess around on it and see what all i can do on it, it has some pretty interesting music on it...but not the music we listen too lol :/ But it looks fun.. I know so far I will be looking at all the radio stations they have on here to see which ones are my favorite so i can save them as my favorites. Good luck to me!!

How can technology help us improve our education?

Technology can help us improve our education because there are certain things you have like a cell phone or things you can find like on a computer that has internet. A phone will help you contact people if you have questions on something your studding that you don't understand so therefore if you get answers to help you understand the subject than it will help you in the long run with your education. Now If you can get to a computer that has internet it will totally help a lot because you can ask it anything and it will give you lots of suggestions on how to do it and what the answers are. For instance if your having troubles with algebra or geometry, internet will help that situation!!! It goes through everything step by step!! :) There are lots of other technology that you can use to help yourself learn like t.v. and dvd players, if you buy or borrow dvd's from teachers to help you learn anything on any subject it will go through each step as well. I have tried the internet deal on my geometry and now im gettin much better at it!! Hope you guys will try it and learn as well!! :)

Post of the day!

Today we were told how these nine weeks we will be doing different things like make a new post every other day instead once a week so we will learn more about how diigo works. I hope I won't forget as much these nine weeks like i did the last nine weeks!! I hope you all enjoy the things I will be learning once I tell you about it. :)

What i learned?

Well my prezi is done and i shared it with my class... I liked pages prezi because sexting is a big deal in teenage life, its not a very safe thing to do. Not many people see that other people can read messages or see pictures from people you send it too. NO MATTER what do not trust anyone! Not even a best friend or a boyfriend because you never know if they are the type of people that like to get back at others if u do something to make them mad or get them in trouble.. But i think everyone's prezi turned out good. :)

My Day...

Well i had to stay after school to fix my prezi because i didn't know how to embed it and i didn't know how to make it just go all over the place like everyone else had theirs lol It was stressful but i got it done after all :) I hope you like my prezi!!
